Kirosso Photovoltaic Solar Plant

The Kirosso solar plant is located in the municipality of Hueneja, in Granada. It is a photovoltaic facility with nearly 50 MWp of installed capacity. Together with the Sunplex and Fotosfera plants, it forms a renewable energy complex of almost 150 MWp within an area of less than 2 km.

The site can be accessed via the A-92 motorway (exit 321). The plant is situated less than 500 metres north of the A-92, and its solar panels are clearly visible from the road.

According to the plant’s owner, the photovoltaic complex that includes the Kirosso solar plant produces the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 92,000 Spanish households.
