La Cabrita Photovoltaic Solar Plant

The La Cabrita solar plant is located within the municipal area of Tabernas, in the province of Almería. It is a project originally promoted by FOTOVOLTAICA LA CABRITA, which entered into operation in early 2020.

The plant is situated in the Desierto de Tabernas, in the area known as “Cueva del Marchante”, within the municipality of Tabernas, approximately 7 kilometres north-east of the urban centre. Access to the site is via the AL-3103 road, through a rural track. It is located in an area with a high concentration of photovoltaic plants.
