Solar Photovoltaic Plant La Pinilla
The La Pinilla photovoltaic solar plant is a renewable energy generation facility located between the municipalities of Mazarrón and Fuente Álamo (Murcia), in the vicinity of the RM-E17 road, which facilitates its access and operation and maintenance work. The project was initially developed by Photosolar Medina 3 and subsequently fully acquired by China Three Gorges (CTG) as part of its expansion strategy in the Spanish photovoltaic sector. It takes its name from the village of La Pinilla, located approximately 3 km east of the site.
The company that owns the plant in official records is Photosolar Medina 3, which is 100% owned by China Three Gorges.
