Solar Photovoltaic Plant Olivares

The Olivares photovoltaic plant is located 5 km northwest of the urban center of the city of Jaen, in Andalusia. The plant’s promoter was a company called Tallin Investment SL, which is why it is known as the Olivares Tallin Investments photovoltaic plant. The site is accessed from the JP-2332 road, a road that also provides access to the Olivares I and Olivares II plants.

Various press sources have reported that the plant has a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), which began to be implemented in the last quarter of 2022. It is a virtual PPA, as it is not declared in Red Electrica and no details are known.

According to the current owner of the plant, it generates electricity equivalent to 30,000 homes each year, and avoids the emission of approximately 44,000 tons of CO2-eq annually.
