Solar Photovoltaic Plant Archo II

The Archo II photovoltaic plant is a large-scale project located between the municipalities of Antequera and Archidona (Málaga), designed for a peak photovoltaic power of nearly 50 MWp.

The project was promoted by MATILDE SOLAR, S.L., belonging to the parent group BRUC ENERGY S.L., and is listed in regional and municipal registries as “ARCHO II” after the environmental and administrative processing that began with public announcements in 2021 and obtained prior administrative and construction authorization during 2022.

The evacuation scheme includes a 30 kV line to the associated substation of the complex (30/132 kV S3 Archo), which is also the connection and evacuation distribution link that integrates other nearby plants such as ARCHO I and La Herrera in the same evacuation corridor. The connection point with Red Electrica is the 400 kV Archidona node.

Access to the installation is through the MA-209 and MA-5101 roads, 3 km north of the hamlet of Cartaojal.
