Solar Photovoltaic Plant Malabrigo

The Malabrigo solar plant is a medium-sized photovoltaic plant located between Jerez de la Frontera and San José del Valle, in the province of Cadiz, Andalucia. With a photovoltaic peak power of nearly 50 MWp. The plant occupies a property of more than 138 hectares located at kilometer 23 of the Cortes road (A-2003),

Construction of Malabrigo, along with three other photovoltaic plants in the same area of Cádiz (Arenosas, La Guita and El Yarte), began in September 2021. The official inauguration took place in March 2023. It is owned by The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG) fund (through the company MALABRIGO SOLAR SL) and was built by the Norwegian energy company Statkraft. The total investment for this plant was around 50 million euros.

The Malabrigo plant generates enough energy to supply the average annual consumption of about 30,400 homes.
