Solar Photovoltaic Plant Talayuela
The Talayuela photovoltaic solar plant, with 300 MWp of installed power, is located in the municipality of Talayuela, Caceres. The site is on an estate that occupies 797 ha, but the usable area occupied by panels and inverters is 485.05 ha. The initial promoter was the company Statkraft, although it was later transferred to another company.
Construction began in January 2020.
According to the promoter, Talayuela Solar produces around 500 GWh/year (500,000 MWh/year), enough to supply 148,000 homes annually, the equivalent of the population of the city of Badajoz.
