Solar Photovoltaic Plant Guadacano

The Guadacano solar plant, by IGNIS Energía, is located in the municipalities of Archidona and Antequera (Málaga), occupying 145 hectares divisible into three independent areas. The main access to areas 1 and 2 is via the Camino de la Capilla, while access to area 3 is located at the western end, 250 meters south of the Carmona stream, using an existing road with right of way from the adjacent plot. Guadacano is approximately 12 km from the city of Antequera and 8.5 km from Archidona; the nearest village is Cartaojal, only 3 km away.

The promoting and owning company of the plant is PFV Guadacano S.L. (parent company of IGNIS). The plant was commissioned in 2024, being the first operational installation of IGNIS in Andalusia.

The plant generates about 118 GWh (118,000 MWh) per year, which is approximately equivalent to the energy consumption of 33,714 homes.
