Solar Photovoltaic Plant Tagus
The Tagus photovoltaic solar plant, located in the municipality of Alcantara (Caceres), is one of the largest photovoltaic plants in Spain with 380 MWp of installed photovoltaic power. It is located northwest of the EX-117 highway, just 2 km from the border between Portugal and Spain. And although it belongs to the municipality of Alcantara, it is located about 15 km southwest of the municipal center.
It is promoted by Iberdrola and together with the Tagus I, Tagus II, Tagus III and Tagus IV plants, they form a photovoltaic complex of almost 600 MWp in the area.
