Solar Photovoltaic Plant Miramundo
The Miramundo solar photovoltaic plant, located in the municipality of Puerto Real (Cádiz), is a 50 MW peak project developed by OPDEnergy with the backing of the European fund Marguerite.
Inaugurated in early 2020, this installation occupies an area of approximately 122 hectares and is equipped with about 133,000 solar modules, 1,507 single-axis trackers and 18 photovoltaic inverters.
It also has a 50 MVA (30/132 kV) step-up substation and an underground evacuation line of more than 1.3 km.
The plant can supply the equivalent of the electricity consumption of 12,000 homes and avoids the emission of around 40,000 tons of CO₂ per year.
