Solar Photovoltaic Plant Peñaflor

The Peñaflor photovoltaic solar plant is located in the municipality of Alfajarin (Zaragoza) and is one of the largest photovoltaic plants in the northeast half of the peninsula.

Iberdrola Renovables Aragón, S.A.U., requested in May 2020 the prior administrative authorization, construction administrative authorization and declaration, specifically, of public utility, for the Peñaflor photovoltaic installation of 136.49 MWp of peak power, and its evacuation infrastructure, in Alfajarín and Perdiguera.

In April 2023, the General Directorate of Energy Policy and Mines granted Iberdrola Renovables Aragón S.A.U. the prior administrative authorization for the Peñaflor solar plant and its evacuation infrastructures, in Alfajarín and Perdiguera (Zaragoza).

The plant is accessed from the A-1104 highway.
