Solar Photovoltaic Plant La Isla

The La Isla solar photovoltaic plant, promoted by Novasol Invest La Isla, S.L. (a company jointly owned by Prodiel and the Chinese company Jinko Power) is located in the municipality of Alcalá de Guadaíra (Sevilla), in Andalusia. More specifically, it is located southeast of the urban center of Dos Hermanas, with the nearest urban centers being: Dos Hermanas (~2.8 km), Los Palacios y Villafranca (~6 km) and Utrera (~7 km) of the municipality of Alcalá de Guadaíra.

The plant occupies an area of around 402.7 hectares.

Regarding the plant’s owner, ACE 2 Renewable Holding S.A. is the sole shareholder (i.e., the formal owner) of Novasol Invest La Isla. ACE 2 Renewable Holding is a holding company (investment vehicle) linked to renewable assets. The acquisition of sole shareholder status of Novasol Invest La Isla by ACE 2 Renewable Holding is dated December 29, 2023.

Road access is planned via the provincial road SE-3200 and also the connection via the SE-426 road that crosses the plant area. The La Isla solar plant is very close to the Don Rodrigo 1 and Don Rodrigo 2 solar plants.
